Course 301 - Installation of Grayson Wireless CDMA Drive-Test Equipment
This
one-day seminar teaches and actually demonstrates the installation and
operation of Grayson Electronics Wireless Measurement Instrument and Surveyor software,
including all main product features and basic techniques for installation,
initial setup, and operation. At conclusion, users will have hands-on
experience with both hardware and software of the Grayson WMI/Surveyor package,
and will recognize the various indicated and collected CDMA parameters. Other courses in this series explain
advanced aspects of the air interface required for interpretation of observed
system problems and help build skills for identifying causes of performance
problems and appropriate corrective actions.
Engineers
and technicians responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing
wireless CDMA systems
This course
requires both a classroom setting and a vehicle for drive-test demonstrations.
Basic hardware is introduced in the classroom, then installed by the class
participants in the demonstration vehicle. All class members participate in
demonstration test drives to gain personal hands-on experience. The hardware
and locally-collected data are then brought to the classroom for screen
projection, discussion, and review by the entire class.
